About Damon Jones
Former professional American football player who played TE for five seasons for the Jacksonville Jaguars (97-01). Jones was the first TE every selected in draft by the Jaguars . Jones attended Evanston Township High School, where he was a star tight end & defensive end and basketball star. He then attended University of Michigan (92-94)before transferring to Southern Illinois University (94-97) where he set records in receptions and yards for a TE. In 2021 Jones was selected to SIU Sports hall of fame. 2016 was selected to SIU ALL- Century Team. Jones currently lives in Jacksonville working on several business ventures.
