About Lenny Dykstra

Lenny had an amazing 12 year career in the MLB playing for the Mets and Phillies. He was a three-time All-Star, as well as a Silver Slugger Award winner during his time in Philadelphia. During the 1993 season, the same season in which he won the Silver Slugger, Lenny also finished second in MVP voting, leading the NL in hits, walks, and runs scored. He actually led the NL in hits twice, the aforementioned 1993 season, but also in 1990, a season in which he also led the NL in OBP. To top it all off, Lenny was a starter and won a World Series with the historic 1986 Mets, showing his contribution best as he smacked a leadoff homer in Game 3 of the series.
